Georg has more than 20 years of experience in international contexts in areas such as good governance, human rights, processes of democratization, anti-corruption, public sector reform, public international and European law, public diplomacy, strategy and organisational development and change management. In his professional career, he was engaged in international negotiations, change management processes, team lead, acquisition, negotiating, setting up and managing projects, evaluating programs and projects, advisory services, teaching or public speaking in many countries including Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Ghana, Jordan, Kosovo, Palestinian Territories, Poland, Senegal, Switzerland, Uganda, Yemen. Georg is a jurist with a specialization in human rights, holding two degrees - one in law, one in human rights. Growing up in Graz, Austria, he is now based between Paris and Vienna. Georg is a passionate football player, art lover and a proud dad of the best sons on earth. He loves to play the guitar (badly) and is a coffee addict with some hidden cooking talents.
With nearly two decades in international diplomacy and public affairs, Mårten served in national government, civil society, political, and intergovernmental bodies. He held a number of senior management and expert roles within international political and corporate relations, international law, human rights and sustainability. He worked with policy development on top political level and was a peace and reconciliation negotiator in the Middle East and Southern Africa. With expertise in political advocacy and public communication, Mårten was a frequent public speaker and lecturer. He worked in Turkey, Iraq, Poland, Western Balkans, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Georgia, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Dominican Republic, South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Togo and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and speaks English, French, Spanish, Italian and Swedish. He holds master's degrees in political science and international human rights law. Originally from Lund, Sweden, he is now based in Gamla stan, Stockholm. A dad of two, tea drinker, classical singer and ski touring enthusiast, Mårten is a trained social and political animal with a vast network of top level decision makers around the globe.
